Why Your Support Matters

Support Arts District Liberty Station to sustain a vibrant, inclusive creative campus serving the San Diego–Baja region.

Your investment advances community arts education, dynamic public art commissions, and studio residencies for early-career artists. It deepens visitor engagement, strengthens funding for tenants and campus partners, and provides essential general operating support—ensuring artists thrive, neighborhoods connect, and creativity drives belonging, cultural vitality, and economic opportunity for all. Support from individual and institutional supporters has enabled the development and activation of 18 historic buildings (so far), sustained their upkeep, and connected 120 tenants with vital resources and opportunities—contributing to state designation as a California Cultural District in 2026. None of this is possible without the vision and generosity of donors, friends, and partners.

Tenant Funding & Community Partnerships

From our Summer Arts Fest to Art Walk, to collaborations with organizations and artists throughout the region and on both sides of the border, community partners expand the reach of the campus and audience. Our tenant funding provides grants to artists, nonprofits, and creative businesses in Arts District to activate the campus – like offering a workshop or concert on a First Friday, host a small festival in textile arts or crafting, or Make Music Day.
